The Sandrock is a modern approach to the ancient trade of innkeeping. It is under new independent ownership. We have four real ales and a premium lager selection with a weekly guest continental lager.

Food is very important to us. All our food is freshly prepared on site with meat and fish coming from Smithfield and Billingsgate markets respectively. Food is served from 12pm to 10pm every day.

I took business colleagues today to this restaurant/pub, expecting decent service and good food. Not the case, we made the effort to leave central croydon only to be met by surly, brusque and impetuous waiting staff. Then to add insult to injury, when we mentioned that our fish was over cooked, the landlord asked us to leave. This has got to be the weirdest establishment I have ever eaten in or taken my clients too. Service 0/10 and food 1/10. I should have kept with the Glamorgan in Addiscombe (amazing service and food), and then at least I wouldn't have paid for a BAD meal and experience and a cab. Two words incompetent and sadly they seem feckless.
