The Corner Store is one huge room with tables, chairs and couches scattered around it and they also have quirky folding cinema-type chairs along one wall. When I went the place was filled with a mix of patrons: suits, locals, tourists and of all ages.
The place had a good loud chatty atmosphere. Cool, but not trendy and happily lacking in pretension.
The Corner Store calls itself a 'kitchen and bar'. It's a bit like a pub but it serves freshly prepared homemade food. There is a basement bar that has independent DJs playing on Friday nights.
