Bad service
We went to this pub for lunch around 1:30pm, they said they were closed and are opening at 2pm. So we waited until 2pm. After which they said they are now going to open at 3pm. Very bad attitude to customers, we do not recommend this place to anyone who like good hospitality, as you will not get this from this place. We ended up leaving and grabbing a sandwich from across the road CoOp.

I love locally in this area and I have never eaten here, however had friends over from Ireland who were staying near me so thought we could go to my local for a meal, when myself my friend and our children walked in there was no smile or hello from the barman just a look, we asked for menus and them he walked off again. So we then had to get his attention to ask for drinks he acted like this was inconvenient, considering it was not busy at all, he also gutted and rolled his eyes when my friend had to change her order as the chicken burger only comes with a sauce not plain suggesting to me food comes in frozen not fresh which is disappointing, ordered steak medium it was so tough and raw in the middle! Sorry won't come back staff very rude nd food poor quality.

Staff are so rude, not child friendly and food is absolutely terrible. When we complained about our potato skins just literally being potato skins(burnt) we did not even get an apology. Will never set foot in this pub again. Such a shame as we need a nice local family pub. Cant beat the Claddahg Ring.
