A fantastic venue for delicious food and wine, with a lovely ambiance to match. Really recommend it!

A great wine list at "old" Kings Cross prices, not the new Trendy Bar cost of a glass but tasty often exotic wines at fair wack. A bit dark but warm on a winter night with simple food honestly presented. going there for best part of 20 years (Im a local) and it does what it does well, usually geting a seat in a booth before long and finding we stay much longer than anticipated. If you do not know the area hard to find but worth it.
Allegedly used to stable horses used to pull the old trams. It is true that trams went down Grays Inn and Kings Cross Road nearby. Too busy on a Friday but great for lunch the rest of the week.

Visited this lovely bar and restaurant (set inside an original Victorian blacksmith's shop )last week with some friends that work in Kings Cross.

Was very hard to choose from the food menu as all of the dishes looked really good. We settled for a glazed confit duck with braised chicory and peppercorn sauce and a lamb shank with cinnamon jus. Both of the dishes were excellent.

A really good selection of wines and beers.

I would definetely be back soon.
