Perhaps most famous not for it's 300 years + of history, but for being the pub that Madge and Guy Ritchie bought back in 2008 and turned into a celeb hangout, Mayfair's Punchpowl has recently been relaunched by new owners.
Keen to make it known for the right reasons, the owners have focused on recreating a country pub and dining room with quality food and drinks. Simple. There are three distinct spaces to be enjoyed, dependent on the occasion; the ground floor informal pub where a pint of ale and a plate of fish and chips is the order of the day, the indulgent menu served in the elegant first floor Dining Room, or the exclusive and private second floor dining space, where the finest in great British food, service and comfort awaits.
