Chequers Car Services

I booked with Chequers a few days in advance to go to Heathrow, Chequeres call me up the evening before and say the driver has cancelled and they had no other car to provie!! I was left looking for another means of transportation on the eve of my departure. I will not use them again as they are unreliable.

I have been using Chequers Taxis for 25 years. They have over the years always be extremely courteous & arrived on time.
To be frank they have always been trust worthy. Their cabs have been wonderfully cleaned & polished.
Things do go wrong in life & problems do arise. Cars breakdown & people get ill.
Their best has always been genuine & may they continue to provide a great service for years to come.

We ordered a taxi to take us to stansted at 6am and we booked it a few days in advance. When it came to the morning of pick up we were rang at 5.50 am and told they had no driver!!! We couldn't believe it!! 10 minutes notice and a supposedly good car service. They had no driver to send us.. We had been left stranded. We had to frantically ring around to arrange transport. When we finally got someone we were by this stage running 30 minutes late. We met traffic going into stansted and just about made our flight with our children and one disabled child too. In the chaos of everything my husband forgot his wallet and keys to open luggage. Thank you chequers for an horrendous start to our holiday. Do not book an airport run I would hate this to happen to you!!!!

My husband company booked Chequers to pick him up on Christmas Day but unfortunately due to a family emergency he has had to stay with a sick relative on Christmas eve through to the weekend . checkers will not change the pick up address. They say that you cannot change the booking or re book, only cancel. Rude controller, better customer care needed. Not impressed.

Fantastic! Driver was very polite, helpful and friendly. I asked him to help me with some shopping and he didn't mind helping me load the car for me. Unlike some cab services I have used, the car was fresh and clean, immaculate inside, no cigarette smells etc. The driver knew where he was going, took me the quickest, safest way and did not try to overcharge me. Defo recommend to anyone asking for a reliable cabbie service.

Always on time. Courteous, friendly & polite. Very reasonable pricing. I would certainly, and have, recommend Chequers Cars to everyone I meet & know.
