I first used this company to supply & fit new boiler in 2004 as they were cheaper than BGas. In 2007, I had to pay further for them to carry out a power flush of system. Recently, I have been having trouble with boiler overheating. As I have a contract with a the national company, I got them to resolve this problem. They (BGas)told me a few weeks ago, that I may need another power flush carried out as this has evidently not been carried out properly in the past(by AMR). I was also advised to keep thermostat on boiler on low setting until a clean up carried out, in order to stop overheating and therefore malfunction of system.
Two weeks ago, I installed a new radiator in my house by AMR and had to recall them as the radiator was now cold...a new radiator! They attended yesterday (a freind,let them in)and I got home to find the boiler had ceased working yet again!
The boiler thermostat had been turned up high and radiator thermostat turned to maximum setting.
Did the AMR engineer not notice that the thermostat was well below what was normal or at least that at the point where he left my house,that the boiler had again overheated?
Today, I waited for BGas to come in and rectify situation. I will NEVER EVER use this (AMR)company again... In my opinion, they are completly incompetent! BETTER TO PAY A BIT MORE FOR QUALITY WORKMANSHIP.
