I love this tiny café and I'm almost loath to write a favourable review about it. It's next door neighbour is always packed whenever I pass, so I've opted to frequent Café Caesar instead. Eating here feels like eating in someone's kitchen. The grill and hob - often manned by one of two men who I'm guessing are related - are right in open view which adds to this feeling even more. The prices are very reasonable, even though clearly there is some kind of price war going on between the two cafés - both of their sandwich boards are chalk-scarred from changing prices. The place used to be silent; something I enjoyed very much, as finding a café that doesn't play music or have the game on can sometimes be difficult: I'm not a fan of the new LCD. But then again, as the place is usually empty, I suppose the staff needs something to keep them entertained as well.
A sweet staff, home-y feel and some free psychic space make this place my café pick in this area.
