One of my favourite fish and chip shops. It’s been there for a very long time, run by a Lovely family. Their portions always very generous and the fish very fresh. Recently it has changed Ownership. Tried it on Friday. Quality and quantity not the same. Telephoned to put my order as usual, asked for skinless fish, when collected , it was not skinless and the batter soggy and the chips was half the portion of what we used to get. So very sad that the lovely family do not own it anymore.

Go sometimes with colleagues on a friday lunchtime.... top tip - get there early as it gets very busy. Also they are very generous with their portions and the food is always fresh. Can't think of a better fish and chips anywhere in London. 5* or ten in this case!

I set my mind on a golden crispy fish and chips. I got box full of chips and this small, smaller then my hand, piece of dry fish in dark brown coating that was so hard I could not cut it with a knife. It was horrid and inedible. I do not know what standards of weight they working to but for £ 5 1/2 kg chips with bit of dry fish it's not good value for money.
I will not be returning to this establishment and could not recommended to anybody. It ruined my Saturday evening.

Great fish and chips and oh so close. Great service and portions that can be enormous if that's what you like. Always the freshest fish and chips cooked to perfection. Add in friendly service and there's no need to go anywhere else in Ealing.

In the last year (13/14) Blue Ocean Fish and Chips bought the Fishmongers in Pitshanger and the freshness of the fish has to be sampled to be believed. Here's a wonderful example of a friendly family run business that serves it's admiring community with great basic well cooked food. I highly recommend the place but please leave some skate for me on Fridays!

I have been going to Blue Ocean for as long as I can remember. The quality of the food is excellent, fresh and full of flavour. The service is great, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic, especially on a Friday when the seating area is packed. Fabulous!
