Loved the Cricket being on the radio but have to say slightly underwhelmed by the service and general staff demeanour. Nonetheless, always consider Richmonds to be VFM and it is friday afternoon so perhaps minds were elsewhere

Richmonds is a place close to my heart. The greeting upon entering from graham and Daphne is always frist class, and this is always followed up with a gentle conversation normally based around sport (Radio 5 live is always on in the background). They look at their customers in the eye and are hospitable. It is a real family atmosphere. Black pepper is offered, and the sandwiches are made carefully without making them too filling.

The average cost of a meal here is circa £4 and a bag is always offered. It is however worth asking for a napkin, as this is not always offered.

I'm not going to lie to you, the experience is first class.
