I disagree with the previous 2 comments. The curries in this place are delicious and the portions are very large.
Yes, the reggae music is quite loud and the clientele tend to have a very relaxed manner about them but I can't see how that can possibly offend anyone. They are minding their own business.
The service is good, if it was a bit quicker I would have rated the place 10/10. The chap behind the bar is very friendly and helpful.
I recommend this place. It's at the end of the High Street but it's well worth walking the extra 30 seconds to get there.

I was really looking forward to jerk chicken and rice all afternoon...only staying nearby so we walked over to the shop.I didn't even go in.intimidating is an understatement, three young men spread across all the seating listening to their rap music at a volume that I can only describe as deafening. To be honest I don't think these people want to sell their food to anyone,I think they'd rather keep it for "munchies" later on..anyway rant over.I think an online menu, a delivery service and a few pleases and thank yous would help you sell your scrumpy food..."peace out A TOWN..!!!"

I went to this restaurant for the 1st time and to say I was disappointed is an understatement.

I asked the elderly lady behind the counter what food they offer and she struggled to prise her eyes away from the TV she was watching to begrudgingly answer my question. I felt like I was begging for food all through out. The food itself is the worst Caribbean food I have ever tasted. Curry Goat with little sauce, and the portion is very little too. I had to find more food to eat.

A hello and a smile goes a long way. Stop treating customers in a condescending manner and improve your food quali
