Bento
Takeaway at 53 Battersea Bridge Road
I had the tofu Salad there the other with other stuff like dumplings and singapore noodles. The tofu was really really nice. I love how you can buy freshly squeezed juices like watermelon juice. but they do need to be quicker at making the juices though.
All in all, I think their food is great. I would definitely eat there again.
Im furious after the food we've received!! After 40 quid I'd expect the food to be edible, its all in the bin!!
Crispy shredded chilli beef-not only the worst dish, but worst meal ive ever had,not a trace of beef, very overcooked tiny pieces of fat swimming in oil
Singapore noodles-so overcooked, all mashed up,very difficult to serve/eat and had no flavour
Peking prawns-in a very thick mushy batter, texture of prawns made me question the freshness of the fish
Mixed meat with ginger & spring onion-bland and watery, tasteless
Pork dumplings-only thing we ate between 3 people
Must make change
Difficult not to rant here: Visited Bento's a few weeks ago with my wife, just wanted a few dumplings -nothing special. We were shocked to say the least with the service. I've lived in Battersea for 17 years, have children at the schools here, with many friends -Bento's should have thought of that as we will NEVER return and nor now will our friends and family. Anyway I left my poor wife to collect the order -she said her change was thrown at her whilst the (not so great yet 25 mins to cook dumplings) were 'dumped' on the desk there. Should you fancy some abuse go for it. Supiority complex by the looks of things;bizarre!
Have your say
