Best hairdressers I've been to in years!

There's a great and caring service by staff - Chantal always listens to what I want done with my hair and then does it, brilliantly.

Throw in the fab head-massage, reasonable price and friendly but professional attitude at the salon, and it's a no-brainer!

Will definitely keep going there :-)

I'm very fussy and do not like trying new hairdressers. However, I was recommended by a good friend of mine to come and give this salon a try as she had raved about it after going from blonde to redhead.
I gave it a try and can honestly say it's an amazing salon. I was utterly impressed from start to finish. The service is attentive and precise and I wasn't overly fussed over or annoyingly titivated!! An efficient and wonderful overall experience.

I was really disappointed by the haircut and overall experience I received at the "Fantastic" Hairdresser. The hair cut I received in no way resembles the simple style I requested and every time I look in the mirror I'm torn between fury & tears, even now, weeks later.

Hi there,

I've just come across your message. I'm so sorry to hear you weren't happy with your visit to us. We pride ourselves in our communication with the customer, however unfortunately with something as personal as hair, no hairdresser can always guarantee to get it right everytime. What we can do though is to do everything possible to make it right. As a salon we always call our new clients a week or so after and have now also implemented a complimentary blow dry up to two weeks after your first appointment to follow up. Obviously in this case we didn't get it right for you - I appreciate this was some time ago now but please contact us as I'd like to remedy this however possible. My direct line is 0208 827 1655.

Many thanks,
Sam

I am a London based actor so, inevitably, need to keep my hair looking relatively respectable and can safely say that the Fantastic Hairdresser Salon have kept my mop in great shape for the last year. They are a lovely, friendly and talented bunch who have been great in accommodating my every need!

I've been going to Fantastic Hairdresser for the last 6-months or so and find the service warm, friendly and professional. Stan cuts my hair and I always walk out feeling so much better than I did when I walked in, she's fab! Give them a try, I couldn't ask for much more from a hairdressers.

I have been visiting the FH since it opened and now never go anywhere else. The service is brilliant, the salon stylish but welcoming and above all the hairdressers are the best in the business. I always leave feeling relaxed and like it's been a treat. Never disappointed - highly recommend.

I had to sign up here to leave a review - a friend had booked me in here as a treat - it is her favourite salon in Chiswick. When i checked the reviews it was a mixed bag and i was quite nervous - but it was great. I had the best shampoo I have ever had in a salon and that includes when I lived in America, it was in their 'lovely room' which is lovely of course - candles, relaxing music and a fab head massage which lasted about 10 minutes. The lady who did my hair was pregnant but she didn't just go on about herself - she really seemed interested in me and gave me some good ideas for my hair for next time. All in all, love my hair, love the salon and I will be back. PS re some of the neg reviews, they have got some new staff apparently which might why it's better - don't know, but i was happy.

This hairdressers is over priced compared to the numerous other hair dressers in Chiswick. I had been to this salon twice out of convenience as I live across the street. The second experience was my last as I felt as though the stylist left me looking like a mess. She did not listen to my needs and tried to sell me on hair colouring as it was on special along with expensive hair products. This was not a relaxing experience.

In short, this place is ridiculously OVERPRICED, The hair dresser was rude, highlights were less than acceptable and I do not feel like I received the service I asked for. Avoid this place at all costs.
To expand,I paid £55 overall for a T-Section of highlights (which wasn't even a full 'T'), they charged me £10 for a rough dry - I've never been charged for this before, as the whole point of a rough dry is that you DON'T pay to have your hair perfectly dried. So, yes, effectively charged £10 for them to blast a hair dryer through my hair - what a joke!
The highlights themselves were awful: my hair is frazzled from having the bleach on too long and instead of them going from my ears to my parting I had 4 highlights added to the main strip of the 'T' - definitely NOT value for money or a full T-section & I still have roots when I tie my hair back!
As if this place couldn't get any worse, the hairdresser Ceri was rude, didn't smile once and asked me if I wanted to have toner put through my hair without telling me it would cost a further £10!
Basically, this place is total rip off and can I just add that this was on a Friday when they advertised 20% off- (just off the colour not rough dry or toner).I honestly cannot stress how bad this place is, even toni and guy works out cheaper!
Avoid at all costs!!

Hello, my name is Alan Austin-Smith and I am the founder of the Fantastic Hairdresser Company - I use review sites regularly and always value the 'right to reply' opportunity an establishment has. I would like to address the last review - if it is genuine I can only express my apologies and ask you to please contact us so that we can refund any money you have paid us, and do everything we can to make you happy.

Although the majority of our customers are happy with the service and hair work we provide it would be naive of me to suggest that we never get it wrong, however we do pride ourselves on genuinely caring about our customers and will always do everything in our power to right any wrongs that someone may have.

However if I am suspicious of this review it is simply because it has been posted on several review sites by 'different' people. Unfortunately as useful as review sites are, they are also an opportunity for competitors or disgruntled ex employees to leave negative posts. Hopefully this is the case as although it is not very nice, it is preferable to one of our customers being this unhappy with us.

The reviewer may think that everything we do is an act and although we do encourage our team to act pleasant, friendly and welcoming - as that is preferable to the 'don't care' attitude that we all receive in so many so called 'service' situations - I can assure you that all of us genuinely love making people look and feel fantastic and feel awful when we don't get it right.

This is why we have a policy of using extensive customer feedback, mystery shoppers, follow up phone calls to every client, comprehensive ongoing education and a promise to do whatever is possible to turn a negative experience into a positive one for any of our customers.

Sorry if I've bored anyone, but hopefully you will understand that when you put your heart and soul into building a business in these difficult times the right to reply in such a case as this

OK, here’s what I and most other people require from a hairdresser: a) LISTEN to what your client wants b) Deliver it quickly and efficiently c) Don’t waste their time – do not assume they have all the time in the world to sit and listen to how you got your tattoos d) Don’t PERFORM, do your job – that is, haircutting.
I gave these guys two chances to live up to their hype and they failed. The experience is all about over friendly hairdressers trying to put on an act and sell your their shampoos rather than give you a good haircut. The focus is clearly on the acting than the expertise. Take my advice and steer clear. They ruined my hair and I’m never going back.

Went to this salon after reading all the wright ups about how fantastic they are.
I found the staff rude and unhelpful and my stylist spent the whole time i was there trying to sell me over priced shampoo that i did not want or need,
Will not be going back
