Terrible place, dont ever go there. Left me £90 down, with itchy head and roots. Dirty toilets, but the staff are even more offensive then the toilets..

Had a haircut today which was really disappointing - I'm looking for someone else to go to tomorrow to have it done properly. I wanted some choppiness put into my 'grown it long for months' hair, especially around the face, but from watching the stylist the hair around my face was barely touched during what felt like a half done haircut. My usual hairdresser spends ages chopping into my hair to get it the way I like it, but I wasnt even asked if I was happy before the stylist removed the cover around my shoulders and declared it was done. I asked for more weight to be removed from the fringe which brought out the thinning scissors (what, only now? after I've asked?) but a few cursory chops werent going to fix it. I also stated that I 'hate stright lines' and brought in a picture of my favourite super choppy haircut to demonstrate what I like, but I still have heavy hair around my face and nothing approaching a blurred profile around the back. I suspect the person who cut it of having had a night out last night. So £50 later and I basically look the same. Not happy.

Perhaps I should have asked for a more experienced stylist rather than taken the whoever was given, but my £50 is still worth £50 regardless of who cuts my hair so I expect £50 worth of haircut. I wont be going back.

I phoned up and asked if there was a senior stylist available in about 40 minutes, I was told that only the Style Director was available. I said I couldn't afford to pay £64 for my haircut. The girl on the phone said he will do it for £49 (senior stylist price).

When I got there, I met with the style director. Before I sat down, I told him that the girl on the phone said the wash, cut and blowdry will be £49 and told him about the coversation. He left me standing, to go and find who I spoke to. He came back, and said that's fine, the cut will be £49. He didn't seem pleased with his colleague. Made feel uncomfortable.

Then I tried to tell him what I wanted, he said it wouldn't suit me. I basically wanted the same cut that I had had time and time again, I know that it suits me. I though ok, that as an experienced hair dresser, he knows what he's talking about. I listened to him, and acccepted the cut he was suggested will look better. It turned out that the cut he suggested, did suit me well but it was not a wow hair cut (like I have previously had) and it was not worth nearly £50.

I paid for a cut and blow dry with a senior stylist. My hair was washed and dried by a student. I have had my hair done before when someone else did the hair washing, and I don't mind this. But they didn't ask me at all if I minded, she was really inexperienced and her techniques were awful. I really felt they didn't care.

The stylist and the student shared drying my hair, doing a side each. It was awful and rushed. Stylist usually spend a lot of time drying my hair. They have never had to use straigteners before. They actually had to straighten it, to fix up the way they blow dried it. They took no care or effort in drying my hair.

This would have been acceptable if it was a training school and I was allowing them to practice on my hair, but I was paying for this. I don't think I will be going there again.

Went to have some highlights, cut wash and blow dry. very friendly colourist and hairdresser. Was pleased with the cut but was not too happy with the colour. I explained that I was expecting the colour to come out different to what it was and the colourist said that i should wait a couple of days to see how it settles and if I am not happy with it still to come back. I waited for a couple of days and I was not pleased with the colour I phoned and got an appointment with the same colourist very quickly who was quite happy to re-do the colour for me free of charge. She was not complaining like some hairdressers i've been to in the past. Tony and guy are very professional with good attitude!!!. Will GO BACK

I have to agree with the other post. Firstly, I was kept waiting with no explanation for rather a long time for the haircut. The haircut itself is an expensive disappointment. I never usually fork out £49 for a haircut but, for various reasons I did. Yet, I don't even feel my hair has been cut! She concentrated more on the blow dry. Very disappointing.

Quite a high turnover of staff. I have been going there for just over a year and have had 3 different hairdressers.

Be really specific - don't be afraid to let the hairdresser know exactly how much you want cut off. They will always err on the side of caution and then you feel cheated having spent £49 for a millimetre haircut.

When getting a colour - again if not happy let them know. No-one who asks for blonde hightlights wants ginger hair!!

Have your say
