Hob Salons

I normally go to the salon in Mill Hill just for a hair cut and blow dry, but their male stylists, who were really excellent, had left and Looking at the good reviews on Barnet branch I thought I would give it a try. But the experience was more like a nightmare. I became ill and couldn’t go back after complaining. However, when I did manage to go after 3 weeks (still not feeling well), talking to the manager fell on deaf ears! Absolutely no help and they wanted to change me the full price for the fixing the messed up hair. I will never go back there, as not only they didn’t cut my hair properly, they tried to say it was fine and if I wanted a hair cut I had to pay! Awful customer service and if it were possible, I would give them “0”.

I visited this salon in October. I was in a desperate need for a haircut and my usual hairdresser was on holiday.
Worst decision I made going hear, the lady who coloured my hair was clearly in a rush and block coloured my hair and left before it was even washed out and could check it.
The junior stylist, cut the back of my hair OK but the front was in so many different lengths that my usual hairdresser was so shocked when she saw it.
Her blow drying skills leave a lot to be desired she literally pulled my neck back every time she took a piece of my hair to dry!
Never again waste of

Used this salon for the first time in Feb 2011. Have to say I was very happy with colour, cut and professionalism. Chose colour and style directors to be on safe side as there wasnt that much difference in price. Would recommend and have re-booked.

I had an appointment booked yesterday for 12.00. I turned up 10 minutes late (which they knew about because we had spoken on the phone). They first said that I had booked for just a blow-dry to which I corrected them. They then said that because I was late and the stylist had another customer arriving in 15 minutes she only had time to do either a wet cut or a blow-dry not both. I considered this an insult, who books for just a blow-dry anyway and why do they only allocate 25-30 minutes per customer for a cut and blow-dry. They were not even that busy. Needless to say I walked out, I will not grace their door again. I think they need a lesson in customer service. Do you not give this in training. I certainly will not be going there again. I went to a different Hob Salon was seen straight away, I did not have to wait and was treated like royalty in comparison.
