Pitman & Risner

I am truly amazed by the excellent service I have been given at Pitman & Risners, Raynes Park SW20 London. I bought a pair of new glasses, but unfortunately the frame was to big and they kept slipping down my nose. I came in for an adjustment, but was recommended to get a replacement instead. The lovely staff helped me find a new pair, and not only do they fit perfectly, they are nicer and at NO EXTRA COST for me. This was way beyond my expectations. Today, I am wearing my new spectacles for the first time, I have been given so many complements, these ones are really special. Many thanks. It belongs to the story that I have only been using contact lenses for 30 years, never found a pair of glasses I really liked, until now. Feeling posh and cool. Thanks, I'll be back :-D and I will make sure all my friends know about you.

The contact lens service for my daughter was excellent. They took time to teach her how to wear the lenses and were very encouraging and helpful. Reordering is simple.
My son also received good care for his glasses fitting.

I went to Pitman and Risner because they were conveniently located near to where I live for an eye test and they were fine. However, their service for contact lenses was less than satisfactory. They are completely overpriced and I would not recommend going there. I had to pay an additional fee and schedule an additional appointment to get a contact lens prescription. Because I wasn't going to by their overpriced lenses, they made it very difficult for me to simply get a prescription. What irritated me the most was that when I tried to place my contact lens order online with another store (for a much more reasonable price!), Pitman and Risner would not correctly validate my prescription when the other store called them.

Their terrible service is not worth it. Go elsewhere.
