Am unable to telephone phone shop.
Have called many, many times - eventually message says they will call back - this does NOT happen.

Eye test very minimal & rushed - not convinced it was accurate ??? Sadly have to say - Poor communication, appear muddled & unable to cope effectively with providing suited, accurate precise lenses suitable to customers requirements. More focussed on selling frames?

Although a customer of Specsavers, this is not my branch. But I must say on the two occasions that I have called in for them to investigate a broken piece of contact lens in my eye, the service I received has been excellent. I came in off the street and got seen by an eye professional in a few minutes, and received excellent advice.

I couldn't recommend this branch more!

I have been with Specsavers for 20 years and used this branch for the last 8 years. I've noticed that the level of service has slowly gone downhill as they are often so busy. I'd suggest more staff at peak hours to restore the previous excellent service level at the store.

Today I phoned at 12.15 to ask if they had my contact lenses in stock. I was 15 mins away and would have popped over to collect them. The surly woman who answered the phone told me they were busy but would look and call back. They didn't call so I called and asked if she could look. There's a cupboard next to reception where they keep them. She said she couldn't and suggested I pop down. I explained that I would come if I knew they had my lenses and asked her to confirm. She said they'd call back and at 4.45, when I was at home, they finally called. Massively unhelpful not only on her tone but in not taking the 2 mins required to look.

generally great service on the day I visited. the team were patient and expert, polite and well informed. However i waited two and a half weeks for my order. I felt they should have told me why it was delayed. Then I called them and they claimed they had tried to contact me three days ago to tell me they were in (no message left). My initial great impression faded in light of the fact that the service was not followed through effectively.

I recently broke my spectacles and am virtually blind without them. I was travelling abroad in three days and so I went to Specsavers in Edgware Road. My eyes were tested by the director who was extremely thorough. He even showed me a picture of the back of my eye. He handed me over to his assistant who was extremely pleasant and she helped me choose a pair of spectacles. I was given the buy one get one free offer and I explained I had no spectacles. They made up one pair within one hour and the second pair was ready the following day. They have saved me literally and I am extremely grateful for the efficient and prompt service. I would strongly recommend them to anyone as the staff are so friendly and helpful. Thank you Specsavers!!

We ordered 3 pairs of glasses and not 1 pair was possible to use, through head office we agreed to remake sigh tests and get new correct glasses. The lenses cracked after few weeks but we were told "it's normal" and in addition I was convinced to have reading pair which I will never use ( I am shortsighted ). Will never come back to them.
