My initial experience of New and Lingwood was not great as I asked if an overcoat was wool. I was told that it was and bought the jacket. I noticed later that the overcoat was a wool blend and therefore asked to return the coat but was told that I could only have a credit note despite protests. The staff member with whom I spoke was terse and unwilling to help.
On trying to use the credit note the website will not allow me to add more than one product to my basket without removing the previous item.
N&L has been a consistently disappointing experience and I will return to my usual tailor.

I bought my wedding shoes here. Impeccable service as you would expect from a gents outfitters on Jermyn Street and despite the price, I know I'll wear the shoes for life. Also great for ties and accessories.
