Excellent result, thank you. I took in two pairs of trousers to be taken out. Caution was expressed as to whether there might be sufficient material to achieve this (!) but in the event there was and I am very content. Contrary some reviews I found the service helpful and courteous and my expectations well met.

Went recently, very happy. Personal service, staff competent, and when were flexible to my specific requirements.
Their adjustments and their hire service are both good, an excellent fit and absolutely spot on. A lot of places tend to cut corners or have poor quality, but the quality has always been good.
I suspect that bad reviews here are from people who arrived with a bad attiude? I've only had good experiences.

Not very friendly every time I've been in there. In fact..downright rude and argumentative. The customer is most certainly not 'always right' here. One get's the feeling they are doing you a favour. Very poor customer service. However I think there are some very hard working people in the background...probably working for peanuts. The woman on the front desk seems to think she's superior in some way. I wont be back.

I was spoken to very rudely on all 3 occasions I had contact with them. That, along with the extortionate price they quoted meant I took my custom elsewhere.
Would not recommend.

I went along to have a sari blouse adjusted. Normally you can get this done from between £20-40 and I was quoted £90 straight away. It was over double the cost of what I'd paid for the blouse in the first place. She said that if I left the zip of the sari where it was then it would be £50 (£40 for a zip??!). I decided not my go ahead with it after we had an initial chat about what adjustments I needed and she got very upset and said was going to charge me for the fact that she'd removed the sleeves (a 2 min job and something she had suggested). I thought they were rude and overpriced.

I took a coat to have the zip fixed. I explained I wanted something similar to what was already on the jacket. Jacket not ready on allotted day (tailor "sick")-Another week. Once ready I find they have put on the WRONG colour and style zip! THEN the man tells me I had requested/agreed to this awful zip; he was rude & aggressive. I say I can't accept the jacket as is - & behold he brings out the RIGHT zips out from the back (they had all along). It was made right but they should be more specific about customer requests, write them down, help choose & communicate better.
