I went in on Sat. to buy a bus pass for the month starting from today 11th Jan. Unfortunately, I did not check it in the shop and noticed when I got back home on Sat. that he had in fact started it on the Sun. 10th Jan. when I knew I would not be using it. My own fault but I should have been able to trust the agent to put in the correct date!

To be fair to the newsagents, you should have stated when you needed it to start from, they are not mind readers.
