These guys are really awful. I took in some trousers to have the legs hemmed as there was some fraying. A week later I go to pick it up and I examined it before paying and it was the same. There was absolutely no work done to the trousers at all. The attendant said there was a "mix up", but it was folded and hung in a pickup hanger and bag. When i challenged him he was utterly indifferent. He just told me to wait another week or take it elsewhere, wasting my time. Several colleagues have had similarly horrible experiences at this shop. Avoid this place at all costs.

I went in to have the pocket lining in my navy French Connection jacket repaired. He suggested I get the whole lining replaced. I agreed. With a dry clean it cost £70 and he insisted on payment upfront. He offered me black or navy lining and I confirmed definitely navy (to match the coat obviously).
A week later he said they had bought the wrong lining (black instead of navy) so it would take a bit longer and he would call me.
Another week later I went in and they had put the black lining in! He told me I wouldn't get a refund becuase the material cost money and it wasn't a big deal anyway.
He said 'write a letter'.
I will never go back again.

I can only describe this service as negligent. I recently had 15 shirts cleaned (a mix of colour/material). Some were not actually cleaned (marks on collar and coughs), ALL of them had deeply 'ironed-in' creases and shine marks and tickets were pinned to the back of the shirts, just below the collar - leaving visible holes in the fabric.
The whole point of using an ironing service is to save time... this has cost me significant time (and stress) as I now need to return the shirts - seeking compensation - and probably re-wash/iron them myself.
I have tried not to rant - just give a fair, honest appraisal of the [lack of] service received... and in doing so I hope I save others the unfortunate experience.
