The owner will always think customers at all times.I have been a customer for 15 years now and the service is always second to none. The challenges posed by Covid 19 resulted in my low cut style. I have now gone back to my wet look today and the service was amazing as ever.
I walked into a welcoming environment and was so excited to get my hair done.
The staff are very caring, courteous, friendly, polite and professional.
Not so many salon will offer you drinks, Boltan does.

She and her staff will check on you throughout. You will get a text reminding you of your appointment, a day before.

I am very particular when it comes to my hair and Boltan Hair Salon always do an amazing job. My extensions are dyed beautifully with the perfect tones and my weave is done very securely so it never shifts.

The salon is clean, the staff are friendly and the service is very professional.

I bought a hair texturerizer, only to get home and found that half of the product had already been used. Returned it straight to the shop and was meant with the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. Instead of apologising, they accused me of using it even though I had gone back within half an hour of purchasing and my hair looking exactly as it was before I bought it . At one point the owner locked the door, refused to refund or exchange it and with her colleagues all that happened was shouting and bring held hostage. Most disgusting service. When the door was eventually opened , I lleft them with the product and my money. Walking back to the car I was visibly shaken that a stranger asked me if I was alright.

Her main focus each day is customer service and attention
Bolton prices are reasonable and the service is excellent

The environment is clean and comfortable I received cups of coffees every time with out fail during my sometimes long hair applications. If I am unhappy about something Bola will listen and resolve the concern immediately putting the customer first always

The junior members of staff are kind and attentative as they have an excellent role model to look up to.

I went to Boltan a week ago and was very pleased with the service I received. I went to get single plaits done and am quite happy with the results and how the braids are holding up. It was also a very professional and clean environment. Looks like I found a new hairdresser as my current one is very far away!

Couldn't recommend this salon highly enough. Environment is modern, clean and comfortable. Staff are freindly, skilled, professional and experienced. Most of all they respect your veiws and opinions about your own hair and listen to the customer. Nothing has been too much in my many years of using this salon. No loud conversations over your head! Respect for the customer and excellent customer service seems to be a priority.

I have been a Boltan customer for more than 5 years now and have had various hair styles done: such as weave on; straight perm and set; tonging; twisted plaits; single plaits. My teenage daugter also has her hair done at Boltan regularly. I have been very satisfied with the level of professionalism shown at this friendly saloon. Staff are generally welcoming and offer helpful suggestions. The environment is always clean :) which is very important from my perspective. I would have no hesitation in recommending this saloon to others.

Clean, highly professional, friendly and they know what they are doing. Went with my damaged hair, few weeks down the line my hair is looking great and healthy now. I will recommend boltan any time. Thanks to all the staff. I have moved now and still going back there.

I recently discovered Boltan salon in Grove Park and will definitely be visiting again. The staff are highly professional and did a great job installing my tracks. For anyone looking for a salon in South East London I would advise you to visit Boltan.

I can braid my own hair and had done so for the last 20 years, but at the time was prepared to pay Boltan to do it as they cane rowed my daughters hair on a number of occasions of which i was happy with.

At the time my hair was short. I specifically asked them if they could manage to pick it. They advised the could. They proceded to show me a key ring of hair plaits with different thickness. I picked one to which I thought would be fine for my hair length and asked them to confirm that the lady would be able to manage the thickness of the plait to my short hair. They assured me there would be no problem. Two ladies completed the plaites within 5-6 hours. I had paid around £90.

Within two week the hair started falling out. I returned to the hair salon and was pulled aside from where the other customers could hear me. I complained that on consultation they led me to believe that they knew what they were doing and if the braid size I picked out was too big, I asked why they did not say anything. The manager of the store did not comment on that but she suggested that the put back in a few of the braids that had fallen out but they would have to charge to do the rest. I was most disgusted an

I was most disappointed to have paid so much when I could have done it myself and be treated badly because they did not consult correctly. I have never returned to Boltan, my local hair salon and I have never allowed my daughter to use them again either.

Incidentally, at another hair salon a little further away I met a barber who had previously worked for Boltan also he was not the first one to have left, and had left sometime before. Boltan seem not able to keep a good barber and there is always a sign for a barber in the window.

I cannot comment on the other treatments offered at the salon as I have never used them but based on the service I recieved I no longer recommend anyone to use this salon.

Had been using this salon on and off over the years. The last few times I have been to the salon it has very much gone down hill down. The service had always been friendly and courteous but I have had two bad experiences with my hair there, and really shouldn't have gone back after the first. The second quiet serious: terrible breakage after a relax (perm). I did go back to the salon to speak to the manager/owner, who predictably tried to 'fob me off'. I won't be going back which is shame as the salon is very close to home and for the first time in years, I had found a salon where the service was speedy and it wasn't necessary to spend the whole day in there!

Another downside about this salon is they are not very good at giving consultations regarding your hair. They are quite happy to just take your money without properly advising about what's best for your hair. Also, it appears staff turnaround is high. Not good.

I recently moved to Orpington and used Boltaon hairdressers as a recommendation from a friend, I was pleased with the service, they were professional in their approach and accomodated my request and for the first time ever, my daughters didn't cry whilst getting their hair done.

It has a warm friendly atmosphere and it was nice to see a mixture of clients coming through the door. The hairdressers helped each other out in the interest of the client. Hair and hair products were available to be purchased at the shop which given the area I travelled from seemed reasonable.

I was given a parking permit when my two hour free parking elapsed and was offered refreshments during my stay.

My partner needed a hair cut and could not travel into London to get it done so I recommended Boltan hair, dissappointingly their barber was unavailable on a friday.

Toilet facilities were clean but most of all the staff were polite and friendly and the location is widely accessible by car & train. It seemed reasonably priced for the quality of service offered, I will recommended Boltan hairdressers to my friends as I have been pleased with their service.
