Alfies Antique Market features in these AIL lists...

Our favourite London markets
Alfies Antique Market has been serving fans of its eclectically curated space since 1976. With dealers stocking wares that come a little more expensive than the junk you’ll see in some antique markets, the Marylebone emporium attracts window shoppers and serious buyers alike. Clarice Cliff ceramics, decorative Victorian watches and enough shiny brass trinkets to create a little Hugo Cabret action of your own.

Best shops in London for avid antiques hunters
Alfie’s Antique Market is one of the most famous in London. The huge covered space is located in Marylebone where you will find a vast array of trinkets, furniture and ceramics. With all the different dealers at Alfie’s, a visit is a day out in itself.

Places to spend a rainy day
This indoor antiques market is the largest in the capital, with four floors of ceramics, light fittings, glassware and much more. Vintage clothing, jewellery and accessories are also sold, and the top floor café offers lunch and views over London.

Alfies is such a great place. Not only does it have a massive range of vintage and antiques, from beautiful 1950s clothing to retro furniture but it's also got an amazing rooftop cafe and a hairdressers! I love spending the afternoon there and wandering round getting lost! The best thing is it's a bit of secret and you can shop in peace away from the crowds that you get in the more well known vintage shops.
