I made an appointment and saw a very skilled and informed advisor. I needed to make some key decisions and I could not fathom out how Universal Credit vs legacy benefits worked. She understood the complexities of my case immediately, went through my paperwork, was able to tell me exactly what the pros and cons of each decision and said that she needed to check out some things. She rang me back that day and then sent a detailed and clearly understood email. I'll always be grateful for the time and expertise she showed. I know this centre is under a lot of funding pressure, but it is one of the only independent and free advice centres left. Treasure it! Oh, and I also just wanted to mention the receptionist - she was kind, funny and welcoming - Thank you.

One of the advisor was very rude and did not do his best to help me. He has no people skills and should not be in an environment were he is claiming to help people when he is clearly not. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS SERVICE. When you call there phone no one answers, it's a terrible service and if you managed to get an appointment you will be very disappointed. WASTE OF TIME, USE ANOTHER COMPANY.

I went to Centre 70 (after visiting the stall at West Norwood Feast) this evening for an appointment and was really impressed with the receptionist who went to great lengths to make everybody waiting feel comfortable and welcome. She even thanked us for coming. She is clearly passionate about the Centre and I thought it made such a difference having such an affable person working there with such a warm sense of humour
I was under the impression they have very limited resources so I hope people treasure it and realise what a vital service they offer.

They never answer phone, although they insist you contact them if you cannot make appointment - how much time and money is waisted because of people not being able to cancel appointments.
They also have an email address which just bounces back as not available.
