Avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service and abusive driver. I arranged this cab for a family member, and the arrangement was that the second half would be paid when they arrived and the driver helped with the luggage (because it looked sketchy). The driver upset and scared her so badly about getting paid while they were moving that they had to pull over. The customer service didn't care, so, logically, it sounds like terrorising customers locked in a car with them is normal behaviour. Unacceptable. Additionally, they are not cheaper than others for airport transport.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! We made an arrangement weeks ago online with Britannia Airport Cars (BAC), they also use the name of Great Britain Cars (GBC) and pre-paid. BAC/GBC is supposed to pick us up at the hotel on January 2, 2024 at 6am to Heathrow Airport. However, it didn't show up. After 20+ min. Of scrambling calling, WhatsApp, emails, and texting, we finally got customer service to reply and said our driver is on the way. But at that time, we've already called for Uber. The driver showed up a few minutes after our Uber driver at 6:30 am. The Britannia Airport Cars driver had the audacity to tell us to cancel the Uber and ride with him. Our suitcases were already loaded in the trunk of Uber, so we went with Uber. The Britannia Airport Cars driver even threatened us that “we’ll not see our refund in ages”. They absolutely put a damper on the end of our trip. DO NOT USE THEM. Also, find a service that you don't have to pre-pay. Lesson learned.

Lost 1500£ due to pickup delay – avoid at all costs
Dec 14th, 2022. I had booked, and paid, in advance, a pickup for me and family at 6.45AM in hotel in central London, to Gatwick. Day of railway strike (well-known since weeks).
Pickup confirmed via Whatsapp the day before.
On the day, 6.45 AM, I receive a call from the agency that the driver will be 45 mins late, but I should not worry as I still had enough time to take my flight.
Despite my hard complaint, in message and on the phone, nothing happens. I call and write again, 7.30, 7.45. I am waiting with small children on the outside in the cold.
Finally the driver turns up at 8.15 (1h30m delay!!). He is also rude and unapologetic.
He drives as mad on highways (also at risk of creating accidents).
We get to Gatwick at 9.40. We run across the airport, but the would not let us through. The flight is lost.
Result: no other flights available on the day for 4 people. Must buy 4 tickets for the following day, at high rate due to Christmas period; moreover one more day of accommodation, food etc. One more day of forced (and un-announced) PTO for me and my wife. Nervousness in family and for kids. £1500 lost in a day.
All I could get was a refund of the taxi run.
Avoid like plague.
