Their multi-seed loaves are the best bread for miles around, stay fresh for days, much better than any supermarket. The staff are very friendly and the cakes delicious!

generally I go to Greggs but whenever I am in the vicinity of Herne Hill I head straight here. Their bread is fantastic. I especially recommend multispeed brown and the chia loaf. The Florentinrs are the best I've ever had. Just off to get some now for a sunday lunch pud at a friends.

This bakery fails to throw out old food. I have been in the bakery three times now and whenever i purchase something sweet its either stale or has had mould in it. At first glance i thought it was something that had been put in but the more i ate, the more i felt sick. Also their chocolate cake slices have been dry and their cup cakes rock hard and stale. Their obviously selling things from the last couple of days. Herne hill is a thriving area and your shop wont last if it carries on provinding bad quality. It has to keep up with the competition like 'Kindred Bakery' and 'Blackbird Bakery'. Do not state if your food is fresh when its not. Eitherwise mark it down in price. I love my sweets and was truly dissapointed! please improve

This is a great bakery. Carlo bakes traditionally using French Flour - and the bread is excellent! White loaf, French sticks, Rye - all Really recommended.
