A smile and a warm welcome wouldn't have gone amiss. The shop was not at all busy at the time I visited - had it been busy, I'd have understood the surly manner of the young woman who served me. Perhaps it's a culture thing and maybe in her culture, it's ok to be surly with the customer. I spent a fair bit and one of my purchases was pesto. I asked if the tub in which she had put the pesto was secure - she assured me it was but by the time I got home, the oil had leaked out. She should have put my tub of pesto in a small bag and secured it tightly at the top to hold the tub in firmly. Her fellow server had done so with my tub of sundried tomatoes and tub of pickled artichokes but then left her colleague to serve me the pesto. Both artichoke and sundried tomatoes were intact when I got home.

I ordered a confirmation cake for my son from this place and it was absolutely gorgeous. The cake was decorated beautifully and the taste was out of this world. Everyone who had a slice couldn't believe how good it tasted. Best cake we've eaten in a long time. Definitely will be ordering his birthday cake in September when he turns 16.

i do my everyday shopping there,great choice of fresh bread and cakes,polish and italian product's but quite few times me and other customers had to wait coz staff was on phone making private call's -no apology,turning back at customers,is rude and annoying-u will lose your clients ladys!i would like to mention I'm polish- nothing apartheid
