This is a bakery just around the corner from my house - I've actually never visted until recently when I was suffering from a hangover and in need of some home comforts.

I have never visited because I was put of by how it looked - but I was really impressed/suprised. It's really cheap, it's all home made and the meat was good quality. I had a steak slice which was just £1.50 and my boyfriend had a sausage & bacon roll made to order.

We go on about supporting local but I think people forget that just because this place isn't a new trendy local cafe doesn't mean it's not good homema

Hi,

I have recently visited this bakery and I have to say that I really was impressed. The exterior has improved since I last visited and the photo above and I think they are making improvements slowly.

This is one of the few traditional bakers left in North London where you are still able to buy a loaf of bread at a reasonable price. I visited the place recently and my first impression of the inside was not a great one, however I was able to buy a filled roll, hot drink and pastry for less than £4 and I have to say that it was really tasty. I will be going back!

Hideous. Never again. Horrible food, rude staff and dirty. Disgusting.
