I was recommended this butcher by a friend who lives round the corner. They ONLY sell free range meat so as I was setting up a supper club (www.parkholmesupperclub.co.uk), I wanted to serve only free range meat. I got delicious Welsh lamb from them (melt in the mouth), and a call back from the owner John who offered me a commercial account even though I am really small, and tomorrow morning they are going to Billingsgate specially for me to get the fish I wanted, even though it's quite a cheap fish and I can't imagine they will make much money on my 8 fishes. It seems that nothing is too much effort for them. I am thrilled and will continue to use them. I'll post later and let you know if they managed to get the fishes for me.

These reviews are all by the same person!!!
I think he's a nice guy and a good butcher is definitely needed in the area.
He should sort out the decor though and get rid of the fake grass! Also his counters look a little empty. Had some good lamb from there though, but wasn't inspired by the selection of meats.

Nice to see a quality old fashioned butchers in Hoxton. The only one around that seems to make their own salt beef! The toulouse sausages are out of this world. Its got my vote!

I've been using this butchers sinnce they openend last year and am really happy with the quality of meat. I've just moved jobs so now I'm in there at lunch time buying breaded ham for my lunch fillings! I've got to recommend the beef, it just melts in the mouth - seriously! Its good to know that Hoxton has finally got a decent butchers.

A decent butchers in Hoxton, FINALLY! Corn fed chicken is really good and well priced. Tried the beef sausages in my George Foreman grill and hardly any fat came out. QUALITY! I found the service good and quality great. Its definately worth a go.

Just recently moved to Hoxton sq & found a gem of a butchers! Its apparently not been open long but you wouldnt know. The staff are really friendly & enthusiastic. No order seems to small, the prices are good too. Theres even a chefs corner where you can get your meat marinated. Rack of lamb was to die for at the weekend! Equally the rib of beef is hard to beat. Bull pull & the electricity show rooms, i love Hoxton!

I bought shoulder of lamb (not something ive tried before) but was recommended by the butcher. But ive got to say its now one of my favourite cuts of meat. Its so nice to have a quality & resonable butchers right on the door step! I highly recommend the Hoxton Banger! Its the best homemade sausage ive eaten, u need to get there early though!
