Allen Foster Butchers

As a lover of good hearty meals such as Oxtail stew, Irish stew, Gulash, carry goat & similar type of food I need to have a right cuts of meat (shin of beef is best for stews), often on a bone, not to lean or to fat for it tast right. Allen Fosters butcher is guaranteed to provide a good quality cuts suitable for this kind of cooking. I live only across the road from the butchers & over the 15 years I noticed him catering to needs of all different members of our community from the Irish Travelers down the Latimer Rd, regular folk from near by estate as well as middle class residents around North Pole Rd, Highliver Rd, St Quintin’s Avenue and more. Besides their products I must mention in particular Allan’s attitude to the entire community. Regardless of whether I was shopping from them or not, there is no instance where it could have happen to pass by the butcher without them greeting you with a huge smile!

I Love this butchers , always great quality meat and the service is amazing; sausages are the best and only place I can get my Irish bacon from too . Eggs are great deal Evan the veg . It's nice to see places like this are still alive. John's is great

I totally agree with the previous reveiwer, and would like to add that the butchers are really friendly & helpful, if you dont see what you require im sure they would be able to get it for you !!
I strongly recommend the stuffed pork loin, the stuffed turkey crown & rib of beef, tasted like meat used to taste !!
All the meat that I have had from this butcher have been great & very reasonably priced.

I challenge anyone to return to buying supermarket sausages after trying the hand-made sausages at Allen Fosters! There are lots of flavours to choose from, all of which taste delicious. Their hams are cooked in store too and cannot be beaten. If you are looking for friendly service, reasonable prices and excellent quality meat give this store a try!
