I accidentally noticed the reviews for Lola's cafe on this site and should mention this is now under new management.
My family noticed the cafe closed for some time. The new owner has obviously worked hard to improve the cafe. We had a great coffee -(cafe Molinari) the best Americano I've drunk for some time - I'm pretty fussy. Happy that there is a local independant in East Acton, next to tube station, and not another chain (Starbucks/Costa). Great Bacon roll, huge portion scrambled eggs and a croissant with fresh toasted almonds and honey. A big difference from the slightly dodgy past.

Hi I popped into Lolas Cafe by chance. I was disgusted to say that I was served a sandwich by a very rude girl who forgot to leave out the tomato When I drew attention to this she took the it pulled it out and slammed it down in front of me.I said I was allergic and couldnt eat it and politely asked for another one the girl went to the back and a hard faced common woman came out scowled at me made another one and slammed it down in front of me.Then she very loudly started complaining about people never being satisfied! I couldnt finish my sandwich or coffee and left.... astonished awful!

I was passing through East Acton today & noticed a new cafe just beside the train station.
I was very warmly welcomed into Lolas Cafe, as I looked at the menu I noticed they were serving traditional Pie n Mash. I ordered my single helping and I can truly say it was absolutely wonderful
They pie was spot on and so was the liquor, it made it wven better because make their own mash.
I am really pleased that not only do they cook traditional breakfasts and have a wide range of food.
I will be defiantly passing by for more pie n mash :)

I went into Lolas cafe last week on my way to work, and was disgusted with the young girl behind the counter who continuously ran her ungloved hand through her hair and then continued to make my sandwich! The ingredients of the sandwich were on the side, not in the cooler, which I was very surprised with. I did not say anything as I felt very intimidated with the sort of people that were eating in Lola's and they were very friendly with the young girl. So I paid my bill and left....but will never return!!
