Very good sandwiches, well filled, decent price and an excellent range to choose from. Much better than any pre-packed and the ability to bespoke them is good. They charge 20p for each salad item which is steep if you have a bit of lettuce, 3 slices of tomato and 3 slices of cucumber + 60p extra.

Lady on the cash till is very loud and a character, although often she just grabs the money and says nothing after bashing the cash till buttons with full force. All part of the fun I suppose. The sandwich makers are all very good and friendly.

Recommended.

Echoing what others say, I can't recommend this place highly enough. Bread so fresh and fillings sooo tasty. I used to work on Pall Mall and visited this place regularly - as a regular, you get (I got) a friendly welcome every time, a chance to practice my beginner's Portuguese and often a free chocolate bar from the lovely lady on the cash register! If they didn't have my favourite sandwich filling out that day, no problem - someone would rush away and make it for me. I work further away now but still try to go once a week from Mayfair.

This place is legendary.

As mentioned before, a bacon bap can contain 7,8,9 or even 10 rashers of bacon. It's ridiculous but amazing at the same time.

I work nearby and use this place far too often.

I use this place every day and it's an absolute jewel of a sandwich shop! Great range of hot and cold sandwich fillings and baked potatoes, all of it is lovely and fresh, very well presented and outstanding value for money. The staff are friendly and very quick.

Top tip - want a bacon baguette for breakfast? Get one from here, it's only £3 and you'll get about 10 rashers of bacon!

A truly great sandwich shop.
