All Fired Up

Plates were not fired properly. They re-fired them, but they were still awful. I painted a second batch and they still came out looking terrible and weren't even waterproof, so completely useless as plates. Staff said 'this keeps happening', but didn't offer a refund. Waste of £25. Avoid. (But do go to emma bridgewater - products look really professional.)

After checking several times, I was assured that an item intended as a present would be ready by a specific date. Despite calling them twice afterwards, it was not on time, and was finally ready too late, meaning I had to buy another gift. I was fobbed off with excuses and on both occasions the reason changed mid-call; it had not been fired because it had been missed, then that the glaser had not turned up. The staff are sweet, but not really clued up. I was told repeatedly that they 'could only apologise', but they went back on an agreement, and I expected better service. Would not go back

Terrible!

I have painted here twice. Nothing was ready on the date that I was told it would be. One item was lost, one was damaged and one was so delayed that I needed to buy an alternative birthday present because the plate wasn't ready on time.

I'd never go here again.

Manager and head office offered no apology for the terrible service. However, the staff in the shop were very polite and helpful.
