Sultan Carpets

Really delighted with two jobs that Sultan Carpets did for us - laying new sisal on the stairs and putting plywood down in a bedroom. Henok was clear guiding our choices and helping us get the best value for money. And Sabri was a truly excellent carpet and plyboard layer. We were so impressed by the whole service. And such lovely guys.

Just had a bedroom done by Sultan but over 20+ years they have probably brecarpetted my house at least twice. Always good standard of fitting, especially on stairs etc, where you notice it. Joseph's really friendly and won't try to sell you something you don't need.

Sultan Carpets laid new floors in my kitchen, utility room and loo. They were polite and speedy, and Sabri did a skilled job of laying the floors, with accurate cutting and neat beading. The price was competitive and they honoured their arrangements about timing and price despite encountering extra problems in the process. We are very pleased with the results. (We used them before, years ago, when I passed the shop at lunchtime, chose a piece of vinyl, and had it laid by suppertime.) Recommend this obliging local business.

We went into Sultan carpets to ask about marmoleum flooring for the third time. They didn't have any samples to give us. He said he needed to come and measure the floor at 5 pm we made sure we were at home waiting. Just after 5 we rang to make sure he was coming but he his colleague said he wasn't in the shop; he would be back by 5:30 pm. We rang again at 5:30 because he hadn't rung he was still out but he definitely would be with us by 6 pm. 6 pm came and went no phone call no show and nothing since. This the third time they have done this.

Sultan Carpets have just fitted a third bedroom carpet for me (in the last three months) and I am very pleased with the job ... which is why I keep going back to them. Great service, competitive prices and good products. Highly recommended.

Buyer beware. Not even worthy of 1 star rating. If you have problems with your carpets/laminates, it is nigh on impossible to get this company to deal with the problem. Appalling aftercare service.
