I was deeply dissatisfied with the level of the customer service I received from the staff. I was trying to figure out a trolley whether it would be suitable. The staff in an unfriendly tone said it opens from the back. I thought and said aloud that it's complicated, to which she (using the same tone) retorted "oh, if you don't want my help....." I was slightly taken aback but replied twice that I very much appreciated her help. I purchased a necklace and earrings and asked if it could be wrapped only to be told that I would have to purchase a bag that was far too big for the items. I tried to reason the practicality of that but that was all that was offered. I asked to speak to the manager and she was no less hostile and unhelpful. I was deeply upset because being a bit of a shopaholic I had never experienced this kind of response before. I asked for a refund and in no uncertain term was told "we don't do refunds." I was upset and tired so I took a sheet of nearby newspaper which wasn't even on offer, and left. I can honestly say that at no time was I rude to them.
