Ms G. ALEXANDER
from CAMDEN LONDON

Apr 27, 2022

Recently bought an item for someone else, so it couldn't be tried on. They gave me the receipt in case it needed to be returned.
I did return the item (flat shoes £10) and was told there is a no return policy but i should look for an item of the same value and she refused to take the returned shoes...until I found something else..

As I was busy I asked for the receipt to be signed and dated so I could go another day and look for an excange and not carry the shoes around. and the answer was NO. I was supposed to keep returning day after day carrying the unused item for a period not exeeding 28 days !
How ridiculous I thought, when they could be reselling the item and I could use the 'credit note' so to speak.

So I looked and found something for £6.50 and then the ASSISTANT MANAGER signed the receipt! at last! of course I was surprised because she refused to sign it earlier. So I was asked if THAT was an issue as there had been so many others !! That was a nasty thing to say to a customer. I really don't like the vibe in that shop.
Why couldn't the receipt be signed originally instead of causing a dispute.

For about 10 years I have supplied/donated a massive amound of items to MIND in Camden Rd where the volunteers are so welcoming and friendly.
