Its a far cry from the Santa Maria Novella in Rome that I visited earlier this year. The shop is small and lacks the dreamy atmosphere and parchment paper lists that made the Rome store so magical. Having said that if you know the goods you are after it's definatly cheaper than a trip to Italy! I can highly recommend the hair conditioner and hand cream they both deliver exactly they promise. Pricey but well worth it. Exclusive in this shop but assistant told me a new one is opening in Piccadilly area however I couldn't see it this morning.

The products are beautiful but you need to be well dressed or thick skinned to enter this lovely looking little shop. The service is snobby and off putting. Having intended to buy quite a few presents I left without purchase due to the dreadful manner of the shop assistant.
