Because we closely monitor our customers and pay close attention to service and satisfaction, this anonymous 'flaming' is atypical of our many thousands of customers, business and private, who flow through our door every year. If this single dissatisfied customer made herself known to us, we will have dealt with it. This is either fictional, a rival company or someone unwilling to openly share her genuine concerns and let us address them.

Although this is an old and anonymous review we should like to respond, especially since the ownership and management of our company has changed since 2006. We specialise in high skill alterations on complex and expensive garments. Whilst we do not claim to be the cheapest, we strive to be the very best, and all our work is insured and guaranteed. In this case the alteration appears to have been complex or tricky, and the previous management did not achieve the highest standard to which we aspire. Nevertheless, we always offer to carry on working to achieve a satisfactory conclusion, as many times as are necessary. We do not accept that we ever leave a garment in a worse condition than how it arrives with us, but some alterations are either uneconomic or do not achieve exactly what a customer expects. We do try to advise and manage expectation where appropriate. It goes without saying that any alteration changes a garment, and the more extensive the alteration the greater affect it has on the finished garment. Kind regards, the team at DA.
