Great selection and lots of American products. Slightly overpriced but made up for with its long opening hours. My only complaint is that some of the staff are inexplicably rude at checkout. But the younger staff members tend to be nice and helpful. Overall this is a great neighbourhood grocery store!

Ridiculously expensive, but the worst thing is that a lot of items are priced incorrectly, so once you get to pay at the till they are a pound or two more than their price tag states! Also fresh sandwiches are left out for too long and look stale by the end of the day.

The best thing about Shepherds is that it is open long hours and it has a good range of stock. The service is good, people friendly, nice fresh bread, a deli, pretty good coffee, etc. The only thing to beware of is the prices. It varies from product to product, but expect to add a good 30% (or sometimes much more) over the price from say, Waitrose. I guess you are paying for those long hours.... but it makes us use it as a last resort rather a regular place to shop. Maybe that's their business model...
