Hubby and I went shopping to the Co-Op Mottingham yesterday.... there was one single Large trolley in the bay.. I had visions of the Co-Op being packed with customers .. But No, it was virtually empty..Where had all the Trolleys gone? ..I asked a young Assistant and was horrified when she told me, that they had been stolen...
She said ''People do their Shopping, walk the Trolleys home, and do not return them''..This is theft
.These Trolleys cost between £140 -£170 each. and the cost of replacing them will be added on to products in the Supermarket ...So don't complain about the increase in your shopping bill if you are guilty of removing trolleys from the Supermarket and not returning them.
