COVID RISK, NO MASKS, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The first time I went to this store to drop off a package through Hermes, the printer didn't dispense the label. We mentioned this to the guy behind the counter, who wasn't serving any customers at the time, and he just looked at us confused and didn't respond... After a minute I tried to get the label out myself, and another guy comes over and accuses us of "breaking the machine" and said we should wait for him... If you want us to wait, then tell us, no problem, but don't leave us standing there without acknowledging the problem we just told you about.

They make a big deal every time you go an drop a package off. If I drop packages on the weekend, they tell me to come in on a working day... If I drop packages on a week day, they tell me to come before 1pm the next day....

This level of service is in direct contrast to what's described by Hermes who advertise ParcelShops as: "a safe place to leave your parcel for collection or want to collect your parcel at a time that suits you" (Note that it doesn't say at a time that suits the ParcelShop). I'll be lodging a complaint with Hermes and encourage anyone else who experiences the same issues to do the same.

Note to store: If you don't want to accept packages, then don't participate as a Hermes drop off point...

Aside from the drop-off issue, they aren't respecting covid guidelines. None of the staff are waering masks or asking customers to.
