I went there a couple of years ago and was told that two of my teeth could not be treated and had to be removed, I went to see another dentist surgery they did my root canals and two years after I have still got my teeth. That's my experience.

I am usually very scared of treatment. My work colleague recommended this clinic. I know the NHS has tight budgets and is old-hat for teeth. I asked to see a private dentist, also highly recommended.

My immediate impression was this is someone I could trust. My consultation was extremely detailed not like you would get in an NHS clinic. It looked at every aspect of my mouth and face. I was given clear explanations and the different possibilties to make my gums and teeth look and feel nice and healthy. No one has ever taken so much time to look at things in so much detail and giving me a honest appraisal. I was given clear advice on how to proceed. As it is was my teeth we were talking about, I went for the full monty! A few visits later, which were completely painfree I must add, my dentist had sorted everything out. He was an absolute perfectionist. He showed me the results. My teeth now look fantastic! I feel more confident and can't stop flashing my teeth! You can't begin to put a price on that! Well worth it! My advice don't keep putting things off deal with them, they could change your life!

Known as THE dentist for the local community, these days, sadly this dentist is driven more by money than by the health of it's patient's teeth. Luckily the depression of my last visit was alieviated by a second opinion who confirmed that none of the suggested work was necessary. If you do visit, refuse to pay the newly required deposit and leave if you are kept waiting more than an hour. In the likely prospect that they will be running late, turn off the conflicting TVs in the downstairs waiting area that nobody watches, which will get on your nerves and add to your stress.

Going to the dentist is a frightening prospect for most people, something this practice is yet to grasp. Ladbroke Grove dental surgery has a lot to learn - not only that technology does not equal service but also that good service goes a long way in reassuring, and therefore comforting patients. And that not everything is about money.

I am quite a nervous patient, but I have nothing but praise for the dentists in this practice. They are friendly, informative and proficient. Furthermore, it is possible to have NHS dentistry which is increasing difficult to get.
