Harrods is a name synonymous with top quality shopping offering a selection of goods from the extensive Harrods range. Perfect for gift ideas. However, unlike any other department store in London, you must adhere to a strict dress code where ripped jeans and rucksacks are not permitted.

Show someone you care with a slab of great cake.

When you want the best, it has to be Harrods. Okay, so that’s not always the case but the legendary department store does stock some unusual cakes. So, if you’re looking for something impressive, a cake that bears the Harrods logo is always a good gift to give.

Having lived in London for over ten years, even I still appreciate the odd visit to Harrods. From unusual things to see (the Diana and Dodi Memorial) to a world famous food hall, it is a strange world of crumbling opulence.

The Christmas facade is worth a visit alone. But go inside all the same...
