I often shop at Waitrose Canary Wharf and since they are recruiting and employing young people with no interest to serve customers correctly, the level of customer service is appalling, the have NO respect, If you ask for something they reply yes BOSS or ok Chief, absolutely disrespectful. If you look for an item missing on the shelves you will be better off asking somebody more senior because the answers is always negative we don't have it, I have never heard please let me check and I will get back to you. but the worst part is that they do have it in stock. For example two weeks ago I was looking for a well know tea biscuits, the shelf was empty so I asked an employee that was near by, his answer was "we don't have it" because I do not take a no for an answer I said how can you possibly recall all the products in the store without scanning the tag on the shelf to check your stock levels ? Then I found a supervisor and suddenly 20 boxes of biscuits came on the shelf. Wow a miracle, The same situation is re occurring on my weekly shopping. Then when the employees are re stocking with those cages they have no respect crossing you on your way as "customer" neither control of them, several times myself and my girlfriend were hit with the cages, they have no awareness when they are blocking your pathway neither health and safety standards when they are folding the boxes. Always the cashier's food belt is dirty, why nobody cannot wipe it ? takes 3 seconds and they should remember they are selling food. If you can avoid it go somewhere else. The overall feeling is no respect, lack of genuine interest to help, young employees body body all day laughing, no restocking with care thinking about the customers, at the end of the day their salary is paid regardless if they do a good or a bad job, so why make an effort, but somebody should be aware, they are doing a very bad job and unfortunately I have to experience this every single week.
