Wickham Windows

Whilst I have no complaints about the quality and workmanship of the windows and doors I have had fitted the after sales service is a positive joke. The lock on my porch door broke and Brian came around three weeks ago, he left a card saying that the lock was broken (which we already knew as we couldn't lock it!) he said that he would be back on Monday to fix it. He didn't come back on Monday and when I phoned on Tuesday I was told that the lock was on order and would be in on Thursday and that they would fit it on Friday. They never turned up on Friday and when I phoned on Monday I was told that the supplier had let them down and the lock would be in this Thursday and they would fit it on Friday. They did not come on Friday and when I phoned I actually managed to get hold of Brian. He told me the lock had gone out on the van and he would find out what had happened. He phoned back and said they were on another job and would not get to me on Friday. As this was a Bank Holiday weekend I said that I wanted the lock fitted on Tuesday for definite, he told me that he wasn't back until Tuesday evening and that he would come round and fit the lock personally on Wednesday. Needless to say he didn't arrive on Wednesday and again I had to phone back to find out what was going on. All of this time I have been unable to get hold of Brian either on the work number or his mobile number although I did leave plenty of messages for him to phone me back. This he has never done. The men have just come to fix my lock today 3 weeks after the first visit. The after sales service is appalling and I certainly would not recommend this company to anyone. This is only the second review on this company but please note BOTH of us have complained about the after sales service.

Its well worth getting a quote from this company as they are very good value, and the job we did have was very well done, BUT customer service is non existant!!!! They turn up very late or not at all and if you ring and leave messages, dont expect a call back, you will have to keep up the contact yourself if you want anything done. When Brian turns up he is a very nice man but very unreliable.
