Thank you so much to Shefi. Amazing instructor with so much patient. Been on the road for a while. Nearly gave up but continued becoz of Shefi. I would recommend any one who is at the urge of giving up to first try one more time with instructor Shefi. You won't regret it.

I have just passed my driving test on the first attempt, in no small part thanks to Elisio's clear and helpful instruction.

Elisio showed himself to be a great teacher who was always willing to schedule lessons around my work hours, including very early in the morning and on weekends. After just one lesson, he accurately predicted that I would require fewer lessons than new drivers generally require; this allowed me to spend less money than I might otherwise have had to with another instructor/school.

During the lessons, we progressed rapidly and smoothly through the various elements of safe driving and the manoeuvres needed to pass the test. I was given plenty of helpful tips, which allowed me to learn quickly and develop good driving habits.

On a more personal note, I found Elisio to very friendly and great to speak with. Every lesson was good fun and I'm excited to hit the roads now.

Elisio was a fantastic instructor helping me to pass 1st time! He was great to learn with: being calm and patient yet ensuring I was being challenged at the same time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He helped me overcome my initial nerves to become someone confident on the roads. Good value for money compared to bigger agencies like RED and the AA.

I would highly recommend booking lessons at the Holborn Driving School. After about 40 hours of driving lessons with Elisio, I took my test last for the first time on Saturday and I passed with only two minors! I now feel very confident with driving.

Elisio was a wonderful teacher. He walked me through every bit of driving with patience and it is only fair to say that his skills as a driving instructor are top-notch. I really enjoyed every lesson - even the ones where my driving was really awful ! - with him, and we spoke and laughed a lot. Overall, it was really a great experience.

I have been attempting to learn to drive for 8 years now, failing due to own self-confidence and bad instructors. I was recommended Holborn Driving School by a family member and I'm so glad I did. Elisio was my instructor - he was calm, informative and so helpful and lovely. He gave solid advice, and pointed out areas for improvement without insulting. Very helpful staff on the desk and phone.
But most of all a massive thank you to the great sir Richard for helping me pass first time on my theory and Test.
He made me feel very relaxed and gave me great feed back at the end of each lesson, he kept me calm when I panicked and talked me though mistakes I made along the way !....

Just passed my test from the first time without worrying much about it. All thanks to my driving instructor - Rob - who was incredibly patient and accommodating, and explained everything instead of just saying “those are the rules”. Over the last couple of months I have basically become comfortable on the road in any conditions. I can genuinely get in a car tonight and drive wherever I need to be, it’s a great feeling to be 100% confident on the road. Recommend the school very highly.

I highly recommend both the school and, more importantly, Rob who is an amazing instructor. He is one of the most patient, calm and knowledgeable people I've met and lessons with him have been a true pleasure. It is only thanks to him and his professionalism as an instructor that I not only passed the test, but also learnt a great deal about driving and behaviour on the roads (beyond the required test minimum).

I highly recommend this driving school and in particular, Rob. He is nothing short of a miracle worker. I'll tell you why. On July 7th 2005, I was caught up at Kings Cross the morning of the tube bombings & quickly developed agoraphobia. This meant I was scared to leave home and I had a fear of public transport which meant the only way I could live instead of exist would be to drive. But I was an extremely nervous student. At the age of 51 I had never had one driving lesson. Holborn School of motoring was excellent. My very patient and respectful instructor was Rob.He understood individual learning requirements with intelligence, and professional expertise. Because of this high standard of instruction I found my lessons a real pleasure. Rob gave me total confidence to pass my test,and it was an exciting journey! I cannot recommend this outstanding school highly enough.

I highly recommend this driving school if you are looking to learn to drive safely, responsibly and with confidence. I took lessons with Rob who was very supportive, patient, professional and flexible. He taught me to drive with confidence and to drive safely. After passing my practical driving test I also took my Pass Plus Lessons with the school which prepared me to to drive on my own in different driving situations. I took lessons while I was working and the School was able to put together a tuition plan that
suited my schedule and needs.

I was recommended to use Holborn School of Motoring by my sister who was taught by Rob ten years ago and passed on her first try with him, and I too was taught by Rob and also passed on my first attempt last week. Rob was an excellent teacher, calm and supportive, and always flexible on when he could do lessons. I am very happy with my experience with them, and would definitely recommend this school.

I have never learnt driving at any other driving school but I'd say holborn driving school is probably the best driving school you can find in the area. The instructor I had is responsible, patient, friendly and experienced. The booking for lessons is quite flexible too. Often when I find myself busy sometimes, my instructor is quite happy to rearrange another timeslot to suit my need which is a big plus.

I can not say enough good things about this driving school. I have tried two others before without success. Roberto at Holborn is a calm confident instructor who manages to install that confidence in you. I was a nervous driver but now having passed my test I feel safe and assured on the road. This is down to the quality of lessons provided by Roberto.
Everyone at the school is helpful and friendly, they are a reliable, professional outfit who go the extra mile to help you pass your test.
I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I had an extremely good experience with this Driving school (Holborn School of motoring), they are a small operation but specialise in central London tuition to the highest quality. From my experience the quality of your instructor seems to be the most important factor in learning to drive well (and quickly) and this bespoke outfit seem to attract the very best instructors possibly because of their central London location, quality clientele and that they always seem extremely busy. My particular Instructor was very experienced, bright and spoke 4 languages fluently, (i even got a chance to practice some Italian ; ) My car was a brand new red ford fiesta, all the vehicles that I saw at this school seemed brand new.
I was worried that being in heart of London would mean that there would be heavy traffic but in fact the opposite was true because this driving school is inside of the congestion zone. So I was able to have my first few lessons in complete calm with no traffic stress at all. Also very handy as there was no extra charge for CC zone pickups/dropoffs.
As you may have guessed I passed first time! it took me 22 lessons + the test (this is the least of everyone in my office). I would say that the best part of this experience is that learning to drive very well has left me confident and secure behind the wheel of a car and most people are very surprised when I tell them how little time I have been driving. I would attribute this almost entirely to my supportive instruction and possibly to the fact that "if you learn to drive in central London you can drive anywhere" I have recommended two friends who also passed their driving tests first try, they both agree with me about the superb standard of the tuition and we probably saved a fortune.
My only negative is that at £22 they are not the absolute cheapest driving school I could find, and they are very busy... but safe driving could be one of the most important skills in ones life.
