Terrible service.
Went in and wasn't seen to for a while no-one was to be seen. A man came out with his belly hanging out, trousers hanging round his hip not even fully pulled up and boxers hanging out. Looked so unprofessional.
Asked for a coat zip alteration and went back in to collect and it hadn't been done, he took a while to press it whilst we waited and my nan had the money ready on the counter. We asked to check the zip as I noticed it wasn't done up correctly. Said that's the reason we put the coat in the first place. He took the money swiftly checked the book and stated we didn't mention that and it wasn't written down. Said it would of been well over £25 when we had already paid £14 for a drycleaning which wasn't meant to be done. He didn't apologise just kept asking if we wanted it sent off to be done no compensation. Didn't want it cleaned and still had to pay for it to be done which was wrong. He was rude, unprofessional and never going back. He continue

Two new guys taken over. Picked up suit last week and they asked me to give them a good review on Facebook. Dropped other suit off on Monday, was due to be collected Friday. I went in on Saturday and it wasn't ready so he was going to press it while I waited but the missus was waiting in the car so we went shopping and came back an hour later. It still wasn't ready and the guy gets lairy with me! I pointed out he'd had it since Monday and he says he's been busy. I said it should have been ready the day before so he's had an extra day and he says he's been sick as well. Never going back there.

I've been using this dry cleaners for a few months. They've always been pleasant and open with me. I had difficulty getting some specialist work done - it took way longer than I expected and I had to take it back to correct a mistake. However, the dry cleaning itself is fine and the staff are lovely.

I have now used 5th Avenue NY twice to clean my work suits. The first time, the standard of pressing was very poor (tramlines down the front of my trousers - nice!). I mentioned this the second time I dropped the suits off and asked that more care be taken. Regrettably, I have just picked the suits up and the pressing is woeful again. This is dry cleaning 101, surely. Like any working person, I'm busy and don't have the time to waste taking them back. The simple solution? I'll use another dry cleaner next time.
