I have been using Church Street Dry Cleaners for several years now - they provide a very good service, for both dry cleaning and washing woollen clothing. (Ownership of the shop changed a few years ago)
Burcin and Ameena are friendly and very helpful, and as a local I really appreciate that they know me by name, make me feel welcome when drop in to their shop, and can provide a same day service when I need it

I have been using them since 2015. The service they provide is absolutely fantastic. Very friendly staff and prompt customer service. They also open on Sundays so I can collect my item on my weekend walk

I agree - do not use their services
I had exactly the same experience as Marion in July. They shrunk my favourite expensive trousers and refused to give me money back saying their boss is on holiday and will be back in 2 weeks. Clearly seeing the post below it is a lie and they say it to everyone. Waste of time and money. How come the dry cleaners can get away with damaging £200 worth garments without any consequences?!!

Left an occasion dress with them to be dry cleaned. Next time I wanted to wear it, I noticed that the right half of the dress is shrunk by 10 cm! When I went back, the shop assistants told me that their boss is on holiday but will call me within 7 days. This did not happen and after leaving several voice messages I went back 2 weeks later. They apologised and told me that he will call me the next day. This was 2 days ago! I went back in today and was told that I will receive a call from him in the next 30 minutes. This has not happened either. I have never experienced such appalling service!

Friendly here but they are rough with clothing - if you value anything do not bring it here under any circumstances. I think problems mainly occur at the pressing stage so perhaps it would be ok to get something dry cleaned but not pressed. My shirts came back looking two years older. Foolishly I tried them again, as they were so nice, but would urge anyone else to go elsewhere.

I'm busy so I don't have time to go to the dry cleaners so I use there free delivery and collection service it really helps for busy people like me

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have advised on the best way to remove stains and deal with delicate fabrics, and have saved a few items I thought were ruined from the bin. Not cheap, but good value. There are several other dry cleaners nearer my house, but Church Street Dry Cleaners are worth a little extra walk.
