I am a Jamaican living in UK. BROUGHT TO TEARS TRYING TO DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE IN HIGH POSITION who are as illiterate and stupid as they come 1 year 11 months and over 18 emails with no meaningful response from the head. I pray l don't have to deal with them but ALAS this is what we have. I've worked in the legal system in Jamaica and also dealing with OUR PEOPLE there. I now understand why most won't go back. I'd rather deal with an inanimate object and will it to speak than having to tolerate this level of disgust!. SHAME ON YOU JAMAICAN HIGH COMMISSION! I'M ASHAMED TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH MY PEOPLE. DISGUSTING SERVICE, One rep, who's name l will not call here even called me names. Thank God for the Internet. I SHALL BE MAKING PUBLIC the absolute distasteful service we the Diaspora has to tolerate.

I have never done a review in my life or send a complaint, but the Jamaica high commission receptionist in London is absolutely horrible. I thought I was strong and confident, but these people break me right down. I cried for a day coming off the phone. they are rude unsympathetic and sarcastic. I feel bad being a Jamaican. there stupid passport carries no weight, yet they treat people like dog shit.
I swear how I feel now, if there was a choice given to take out of the Embassies in London and I had to choose Jamaica would be my chosen choice .They are useless and they don't deserve a spot in London. Need to Go back to their Country and do things from their. you cant possible do anything anyway, everything goes back to Jamaica. you can't even pay by phone. The process is unbearable and unpleasant.

I have use the service over the last two months, and i must say some staff seemed quiet stern initally. However, with a little charisma from my friend and I, staff seemed to lighten up a bit. I work with the public, which can be very challenging, and we sometimes forget that we are dealing with human's just like ourselves. We need to give credit to public sector workers. They work very hard and sometimes under difficult circumstances, no doubt. Keep up the good work

I used this service today for the first time and I have to say the whole service delivery in customer care was appalling, below the level of customer care I expect. not even a warm greeting with a smile and i left the building more confused than when i arrived. Totally dissatisfied.

I paid £149 to get my passport within two weeks on the 17th of June. I waited for a response and for my passport but did not receive either in the time I was told I would have received it and as a result I lost my appointment for which it was needed . I called one week after I was to get my passport tryng to find out where it was and why I heard nothing about it. I received a message a day after telling me that the passport is to be collected at the office. According to my receipt a courier is to bring my passport to me and after spending so much money I do not expect to go to collect it. I have been calling the office ever since everyday but no one is answering.
I am entitled to a refund because I did not receive my passport within the two weeks we agreed. They did not keep to the agreement and I do not expect the Jamaican Embassey to keep my money after the awful service I got.
Overall the service is very poor and we as a nation need to do better when it comes to representing the country and the treatment of our people/customers in England.
