After going to loads of chip shops in south london and finding all i could get for my hard earned cash was a tiny portion of frozen chips and a badly cooked cod, the boys and i reluctantly knocked the traditional chippy night on the head. Until, that is, i tried 'The Flying Fish'. What a blinder!
Fresh fish NOT frozen or badly cooked and Homemade chips NOT frozen, what more could a man want?!! Well, on top of this they cook really nice grilled fish if you go through a 'healthy faze' or if that's your preferance.
I would recommend this chip shop to anybody who remembers the good old days of a nice bit of cod, homemade chips, mushy peas and a smile with the excellent service.
A word of warning though! Don't get into a convo about football like i did! The boss and i where ranting for ages, although he did keep my food hot!
